Gambia Beach Volleyball team prepares for Youth Games

The Gambia Volleyball Federation is putting all efforts together to earn their maiden appearances in the 3rd African Youth Games this July in Algiers.

The GVBF is preparing to send indoor and beach teams to the Games. Following the selection of the indoor boys team, the Federation had also called two young players Fatoumatta Sillah of Brikama and Mariama Ginadou of Interior to a training camp at a local beach.

The team is currently managed by Pa Babucarr Barrow and assisted by Gambian international Amadou Jarju and beach volleyball queens Sainabou Tambedou and Abie Kujabie.

The Gambia had drawn all the selected players from the African Dream Projects Centers and the country is thinking to have success in Algeria.
