GAF Survival in CAF Champions league in their hands

Gambia’s league champions Gambia Armed Forces’ survival in the 2018 CAF Champions league solely rests in their own hands after losing to Zanaco FC in the first leg fixture.

The Zambian Premier league side defeated the Soldier boys by 3-0 in the first leg of the continent’s top-flight football tournament in Lusaka, a forthright ago.

They will host the Zambian club in the second leg encounter tomorrow 24 February, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. The Soldiers survival in the continent’s premier tier football club competition is in their hands after losing the first away leg tie.

Zanaco need only a draw to navigate to the second round of the continent’s top tier competition following their resounding 3-0 win over Gambia Armed Forces in the first leg in Lusaka a forthright ago but a massive defeat will see them out and Gambia Armed Forces sail to the second round.
