League champions Gambia Armed Forces (GAF), Sunday missed the chance to top the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) domestic division one league table after their goalless draw with Samger in week-twelve tie played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

The Soldier boys needed a victory to top the country’s premier league following table topper Brikama United goalless stalemate with Wallidan on Saturday.

The academy boys also needed a victory to bag the magnificent three points to better their position in the league standings, following a pitiable run in their previous league matches which ended in goalless stalemate.

The draw earned Gambia Armed Forces 18 points after twelve league matches and Samger with 10 points in twelve league matches.

Real De Banjul defeated Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) 1-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day to bounce back in the league after slipping to Gamtel 1-0 in their previous league tie.

They now grab 17 points in twelve league matches and Gambia Ports Authority with 15 points after twelve league outings.
