GAF leaves for Zambia for Champions league clash with Zanaco

Gambia’s current league champions Gambia Armed Forces will leave Banjul today for Zambia prior to their 2018 CAF Champions league preliminary first leg away tie with Zanaco FC in Lusaka, this weekend.

Coach Ebou Jarra has assembled a formidable squad for his side’s crucial first leg clash with the Zambian side for a place in the second round.

The Soldiers will be eyeing for a positive result against Zanaco FC in Lusaka to boost their chances of reaching the next round of the competition.

Their last appearance in the CAF Champions league was in 2009, where they were eliminated in the preliminaries.
