Armed Forces, Brikama United and Real De Banjul are battling for the 2018-2019
Gambia Football Federation (GFF) domestic division one league crown with the
Armed Forces topping the tier with 38 points.
They are followed by the Brikama Sateyba boys who garnered 37 points and the city-boys with 36 points. The three teams will be hoping to win their remaining matches to fancy their chances of clinching the league title.
Banjul United, Samger and PSV Wellingara are all wrestling for survival in the country’s top flight following their dismal performance in the league campaign.
The Banjul-based team are occupying third-place from bottom in the league with 20 points while the Academy boys are sitting second-place from bottom with 18 points and the Wellingara club are languishing bottom-place with 16 points.
