Superliga club OB Odense has taken Fortune Football Club midfielder Alfusainey
Jatta on trial.
Jatta, who left Gamtel to sign a two-year contract with promoted Fortune, last week, has two-weeks to impress the coaching staffs who have invited him to train with the U19 team and the senior squad.
The 18-year-old, who landed in the Danish capital of Copenhagen at the weekend, was thrown straight into action in OB’s 3-1 reserve league win over Esbjerg fB on Monday evening.
He is set to train with the club’s senior team on Tuesday evening before travelling with the squad for their league clash at Gambia international Bubacarr Sanneh’s AC Horsens on Sunday.
Jatta, dubbed Pogba, becomes the second Gambian player in two years to try out at the five-time Danish Cup champions after Julaba Sawaneh.
The former Gambia U20 midfielder’s trial was facilitated by World in Motion and RWMG Sports, one of the UK’s foremost sports management companies.
