Former Ham-Ham inspirational midfielder Alagie Bah could add value to the Real De Banjul side as he is set to make his debut for the Banjul club in a fortnight time.

Bah, who is a brother to the current captain of the Gambia Senior National team Ebrima Sillah is expected to play his first-ever Division One match against Gamtel on Saturday 10  April 2010 when the second round gets underway in the GFA First Division League Championship.

The 17-year-old former Gifts Academy prodigy switched to Real De Banjul following a successful 4-year-spell with Ham-Ham, a Second Division outfit in the GFA league last season.

Bah has failed to feature for Pa Samba Mbenga's men throughout the first round, but he was included in Real's team that went to Ziguinchorr, Cassamance, where his valuable contribution at the heart of midfield help the team secured a 1-1 draw in an international friendly game against Kassa Spori over the weekend. This is in the build-up to the second round of the GFA First Division League Championship, where Real has struggled to impress in the first round after a strings of dismal results.

"I am extremely delighted to be part of such a wonderful club in Real De Banjul, the club I love since I was a little boy. It is a dream come true and I cannot wait to get started," Bah was quoted as saying by this reporter in an interview at his residence in Bakau New Town yesterday.

Bah's introduction along with Matarr Jobe AKA (Nesta) the former U-17 team captain will surely boost the morals of the youngsters, because our hope of achieving the desired results is based on the qualities of the players, says Pa Samba of Real in an interview with this reporter at the team’s training ground.
