Fatou Boye seeks assistance to undergo medical treatment

A 30-year-old woman from Madiana Village in Kombo North is seeking assistance in the sum of 25 thousand Gambian dalasi to cover her medical bills at Sharab Medical Center at Old Jeshwang.

Fatou Boye, is said to have been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) after she was admitted couple of occassion at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul.

A medical report from the Banjul hospital indicated that since March, last year, Mrs. Boye has been complaining of difficulty in breathing, epistaxis, bilateral pedal edema and low urine output. 

The 30-year-old woman thus appealed for assistance to undergo Arteriovenous fistula treatment, which is only available at private clinics.  “I have been having treatment since last year, which has now drained my husband financially.”

She thus appealed to the government, non-government organizations, philanthropists and individuals to come to her aid, to enable her undergo the said treatment and regain her health”,she added.
