Sillah alias Sparklyn Black the street degree general has recently released a
new music video entitled “Ghetto”.
The audio version is an acoustic instrument which was produced by street degree records and the video by “Ndap li Pro was released on 18 August 2017.
The video is promotional and the messages in the song address the youths to shape a better future, rather than being always in the street, much more using illicit drugs.
In an interview with Sparklyn Black, he explained the idea of the song.
“I am very much worried and concerned regarding the youths that spend most of their time in the streets than to engage themselves in professional jobs and skills work than walk around the whole day.”
“The youths are the future of the nation and the street is causing a weakness to their future career. They need to engage in education in order to develop a decent career,” he explained.
The Dancehall singer who has been in music for more than a decade has produced some hit songs which are currently making waves on various radio stations, sound cloud, social media etc.
Some of his hit singles are Strong man, Black berry and iPhone, “fateleku len,” “dangi dangi rek” etc.
He also said that he is working on his latest project and whenever that is ready, the public will surely benefit from the messages he sings.
