Elija Brown Gambian Gospel Artistes tour Dakar

As Gambia’s biggest annual Gospel concert makes international debut following the successful hosting of Gambian’s first Gospel music Awards Night (GGMA) in January this year, the Gambian Gospel music domain has recorded yet another historic milestone as Shabak Gambia’s  annual gospel concert  in Dakar.

Senegal in its sixth year Shabak, 2018 Dakar, as it is formerly couched held from 25 to 27 May 2018. It was programmed as a full packaged trip for registered participants, featuring a tour and culminating with the concert.

The Shabak Dakar milestone is the first of its kind in 2018.

Speaking in an interview with Point Entertainment and Lifestyle Elijah Brown, President and founder  of Waveplus Promotion said as this is the sixth year of Shabak, the idea of two Shabak concerts in 2018 falls perfectly in line with our resolve to make the Shabak experience of each year bigger and grander than its predecessors.

“We are currently overcome with gratitude to God for the huge success of the first ever Shabak in Dakar, adding that the next course of action is still to make Shabak 2018 Gambia’s bigger come June 29, 2018.

According to Brown, the main aim of the Shabak 2018 Dakar was to unite Gospel Artistes from both countries, thus paving the way for more Sene-Gambian collaboration in the realm of Gospel music.

The historic even was grace by the musical arm of Waveplus Promotion-the Gospel Crew, alongside of the Gambia Gospel music industry.
