Gambia s famous king of reggae, Dr Olugander, last month released a 13-track album entitled 'Stronger Than Before'. The album launch on the 24th of December, 2008 at the Tallinding Buffer Zone was witnessed by thousands of reggae lovers in the country.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment last Tuesday at The Point Newsroom, Dr Olugander said his recent tour to the European countries was a total success. The Gambian king of reggae said it was amazing for many Gambians to see him back from Finland in a grand style. According to him, the 13-track album will boost the music industry of The Gambia to higher heights. Dr Olugander revealed that it will go a long way in proving to the world that Gambian music is growing to the highest.

"When I played my single track jointly with the International reggae artist Sizzla it showed that there is no doubt in the world that Dr Olugander has came back in a grand style," he said.

When quizzed on his new album, the returned reggae artist said the 13-track album touches on struggle and challenges of the world to live independently and fight against poverty in our midst. He therefore thanked all those who helped in one way or the other to the success of his album. Dr Olugander sent a special thanks to The Grander Promotion and master recording in Punky Finland.
