Gambian striker Pa Amat Dibba netted his
first goal for the Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenxin after scoring his
side’s only goal in their 4-1 defeat to Changchun Yatai during their opening
match of the Chinese League played on Saturday.
Dibba gave his side the lead after a brilliant finisher in the 37th minute of the first half but the lead lasted for only three minutes as the visiting team levelled scores through Tan Long in the 40th minute.
The 31-year-old, who guided Shanghai Shenxin to gained promotion last season from the Chinese second division, will use this goal as a motivation to continue helping the team to achieve its objectives.
This is the first goal for Dibba for the team’s first match in the Chinese League One after gaining promotion from the Second division last season.
