Demba Savage scores in Honka defeat over Lahti

Scorpions’ veteran striker Demba Savage has scored for his Finnish top flight club, FC Honka during their 3-2 away defeat over Lahti in the week-twenty fixtures of the Finnish Veikkauliiga (Premier League) played at Lahden Stadion, on Monday.

The 31-year-old striker scored his side’s second goal with a fine finished in the 82nd minute of the second half, while Lucas Kaufmann scored his first goal in the 60th minute.

The home team, Lahti scored their goals through Jasin-Amin Assehnoun in the 8th minute, while the Cameroonian striker Gael Junior Etock brace in the 11 and 15 minutes respectively makes it a comfortable win.

 The latest goal from the former Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) player has now made it three goals so far for him in the Finnish Veikkauliiga.

Demba Savage’s Honka FC team is currently on fourth position in the Finnish Veikkauliiga table with 31 points, five points behind first place occupant Inter turku FC, while Lahti FC is in seven position with 28 points after 20 matches.
