Coaches of Influence Foundation (CIF) has been launched in The Gambia with a youth seminar on Saturday.

The seminar, which was held at St. Peter’s Senior School in Lamin, was attended by young people from Lamin and its surroundings.

The theme for the seminar was, “Turning Followers into Leaders through Civility.”

In an interview, Dr. Margaret Elis, founder of Coaches of Influence Foundation (CIF) said the Foundation was established in 2017 in the United States of America.

The seminar, she said, was sponsored by Classic Consulting, a business they registered in The Gambia in 2013.

Elis said the foundation focuses on youth and women in order to help them understand what leadership is all about.

The youth seminar, she disclosed, would be followed by a women conference later this month.

“We will continue to have similar events across the country as we continue to connect with different youth and women groups. Our goal is to partner with all the youth and women groups.”

CIF Founder Margaret Elis urged the youth to share the knowledge gained with their friends in order to create that positive impact in society.
