Coach tasks journalists to aid Gunjur to receive best player, top scorer awards

Bubacarr Bojang, alias Kakai, the head coach of the Gunjur Super Nawettan team has tasked journalists to help Gunjur in order to receive their  2016 Super Nawettan best player and top scorer prizes.

Coach Bojang was speaking to reporters shortly after his side’s 3-0 win over debutants Kombo East in the quarterfinal played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Tuesday.

 Coach Bojang said the journalists should help Gunjur in order to receive the best player and top scorer prizes, adding that the Super Nawettan Organising Committee must try and pay/ award the best player and top scorer prizes.

Coach Bojang challenged the journalists to question the Super Nawettan Organising Committee about their failure to pay the best player and top scorer prizes.

‘’Gunjur is yet to receive the best player and scorer top prizes since the 2016 Super Nawettan final against Banjul and am appealing to the journalists to help so that we can receive the best player and top prizes,” coach Bojang said.

It would recalled that Salifu Bojang, alias Bapa was decorated the best player for the 2016 Super Nawettan and Mbemba Fatty , alias Iniesta was awarded the top scorer for the country’s biggest community football fiesta, after notching five goals.
