The Head Coach of the National Women's football team, Coach Buba Jallow has placed great importance to the friendly matches, as The Gambia takes on Senegal in the first test today.

According to Jallow, "we are fully prepared to face our opponents this afternoon. We are not looking at this game to be only a mere test game, but we are going to play in our best performance."

He said competing opponents in the two friendlies designed for both sides will help them prepare ahead for future competitions.

Coach Jallow advised the players to maintain discipline at all times, relax ahead of the game which, he said, demands concentration.

"To all Gambians, this game is for the country, it is high time that people should start watching women football," he concluded.
