Village recently donated medical items to Fass Njaga Choi Clinic.
The Dutch philanthropists led to The Gambia by Mawgy and Wuieneka donated medicines, diapers, and sanitary pads among others to the Fass Njagga Choi Clinic.
Speaking on behalf of the donors, Mrs Mawgy said they were very happy to be associated with the people of Fass.
She noted the importance of helping people to access health facilities, especially those in the rural areas and promised to continue helping the people of Fass with more medical materials.
Awa Bojang, the Nurse in charge of Fass clinic expressed delight at the gesture and commended the donors for reaching out to them as it was very timely.
She stressed that the medical items would be taken good care of and also used to serve its purpose.
Alhagie Basirou Choi of the Village Development Committee also thanked the donors and commended them for being true friends of the village.
He noted that this was the third time that they had come to support Fass Clinic and promised that the village would collaborate with the nurses to make best use of the materials donated.
