Bundung Borehole Tourney reaches Quarters

The Noran tournament currently underway at Bundung Lower Basic School and organise by the youths of Bundung Borehole had finally reach its quarter final stage.

So far, eight out of nineteen teams had already booked their places to the quarter finals. The remaining teams, namely United Reds, Jah Guides, TC FC, Stockholm, Manchester United, Red Tigers, Ball Congne and Amsterdam FC have already secured their places in the quarters and willbattle for a spot in semi final.

Amadou Kinteh a member of the organising committee said that the quarter final would commence next week Saturday and the tournament is named after Momodou Jallow, an influential sporting activist in Bundung Borehole.

Mr. Kinteh further posited that, the purpose of the tournament is to unite the youths of Bundung Borehole and Serrekunda Central in general.

He said since the start of the tournament three weeks ago it is trouble free. He added that the level of co-operation is in high esteem.
