The
defending league and Super Cup Buckingham FC and Underlion FC have both
snatched victories in the 2016 Late Modou Janneh Memorial intermediate football
tournament played at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field.
Buckingham
thumped Young Passamai 2-0 on Saturday to claim their first win in the annual
intermediate football tournament after drawing their two opening games.
Underlion
FC trounced Happy Gunjur/Lion FC on the same score on Sunday to clinch their
win in the championship after their slow start to the championship.
Elsewhere,
Bilbao FC have so far maintained their hundred percent record in the
championship following their 2-1 win over Jabas FC in their second group game.
