Buckingham Pneuma Academy graduates first batch

Buckingham Pneuma Academy last Saturday graduated its first batch of students at the school ground in Wulingkama.

The event was graced by dignitaries, parents, guidance, teachers and pupils. Buckingham Pneuma Academy was founded in September 2010 with only two enrolled students but the number has now risen to over 100 children in the past years.

Addressing the gathering, Pastor Francis Forbes, guest speaker encouraged the graduating students not to relent in their quest for knowledge, saying knowledge is power. He also stated that one cannot be insecure without knowledge.”You will always be on top of issues when you are educated so you will not be taken for granted or be manipulated easily.”

Pastor Forbes described a knowledgeable person as a free, informed and confident person. He took the graduates through his educational life journey; the difficulties he encountered as a student and how he tackled them.

The school’s director Mr. Swaray gave a brief history of how the school started and how far they have come. He thanked the staff, caretakers, parents and guidance for sending their children to BPA, further assuring of high and quality education. He equally thanked Pastor Forbes for gracing the occasion.

The event was characterized withpresentation of certificates of appreciation and award to the best students in different subjects.
