Arabia’s premier league side Al- Shabab has signed Gambia international
Bubacarr Trawally alias Steve on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Trawally joined Riyadh-based club from Danish side Vejle Boldklub, after playing extensively in Chinese Superliga. The 24-year-old started his career in 2014 with Real de Banjul before moving to Hangzhou Greentown in the Chinese Superliga in 2015.
He was loaned out to Yanbian Changbaishan before signing for another Chinese club Yanbian Funde. Trawally signed for Danish club Vejle Boldklub in 2015 and then went on loan to China’s Guizhou Hengfeng.
He has six international caps for the Gambia and made his debut for the Scorpions in their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at home to Cameroon on 6 September 2015. Al Shabab are currently third in the Saudi Professional League table.
