Gambian striker, Bubacarr Jobe has scored his tenth goal for his Mjallby side in the Swedish Superettan (Second Division League) in their 3-2 home win over Oster in their week-twenty-seven fixture played at the Strandvallen Arena, on Saturday.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring for his side in the 34th minute after leveling Oster’s Mattias Pavic 32nd opener. Joel Nilsson and Nigerian Michael Omoh gave Mjallby the lead in the 62nd and 85th minutes while Carl Johansson scored Oster’s second goal in the 86th minute.
The Gunjur-born Toronto FC former player who was part of Scorpions team in yesterday’s encounter against Djibouti is playing a key role since moving to the Swedish Superettan in 2018. He now made 44 appearances since moving in Mjallby in 2018 and scoring twenty goals so far.
Mjallby top the Swedish Superettan standings with 52 points after playing twenty-seven matches, while Oster is first from bottom with 23 points.
