As BK Milan thumps Waa Banjul to recuperate

Brufut United slipped to Red Hawks in a 1-0 defeat in the week-nine fixture of The Gambia Football Federation’s 2017-2018 second division league which was played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Wednesday while BK Milan edged-past Waa Banjul to snatched top spot in the second tier after losing to Samger 2-1 in their previous fixture.

 Brufut United has been unbeaten in the second tier since the start of the season in November before they slipped to the young Red Devils in the week-nine fixture. They have now dropped to second place in the second division with 16 points in nine league matches. Red Hawks is sixth with 12 points in nine league matches.

In the other fixture, BK Milan beat Waa Banjul 2-0 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on the same day. The victory has earned BK Milan top spot in the second tier with 17 points in nine league matches.

Waa Banjul has 7 points in nine league matches following their 2-0 defeat to BK Milan.
