British national donates 60 solar lights to Riders for Health

Kevin Bailey, a British national, on Monday donated 60 solar lights to Riders for Health, the managers of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare’s national fleet of healthcare vehicles.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the Riders for Health office in Kanifing, Cherno Jallow, programme director at Riders for Health, commended Mr Bailey for “the timely donation”.

Ousman Yarboe, director of TANGO, said the donated items would be very useful to the communities and schools in the Central River Region.

Therese Drammeh, country director of Riders for Health, said their function is to maintenance the vehicles of Ministry of Health, noting that the donated solar lights would keep their workshop equipped.
