British Couple in trouble for alleged negative publications

A British couple Mr David Borland Fulton and Mrs Fiona Rachel Fulton are currently under police custody for allegedly publishing negative articles and sending negative letters to individuals and organisations about The Gambia and the government, sources disclosed to this paper.

According to the sources, the couple posed as Christian missionaries and were arrested on 29thNovember 2008 after the police acted on a tip-off from a concerned citizen.

The source further revealed that the couple, who have been living in The Gambia for the past nine years, initially visited the country as tourists.
