Brikama zonal team shares spoils with Nyarry Tally in Int’l Friendly

As part of their preparations for the 2014 Super Nawettan zonal football championship set for 24 November 2014, Brikama zonal team on Tuesday came from one nil down to share points with the Senegalese outfit, Nyarry Tally, after 1-all draw in an international-friendly game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Essa Ba gave Nyarry Tally the lead in the 13th minute of the game from a long-range strike, before Sainey Sambou Duta levelled the scores to cancel Essa Ba’s 13th minute opener.

Abdoulaye Ndiaye could have snatched the winner for Nyarry Tally in the 33rd minute of the game from the penalty spot, but his shoot was saved by Brikama zonal team goalkeeper Omar Dem, after he was brought down inside the eighteen yards box.

Wallidan midfielder Modou Lamin Sawo also would have grabbed the winner for Brikama zonal team in the 41st minute of the game, but his shoot was denied by the wood work after winger Momodou Camara alias Toubab was brought down inside Nyarry Tally eighteen yards box.

Both sides finished the game with ten men; Adama Sabally Nesta was sent off for Brikama zonal team and Mamadou Niang for Nyarry Tally.
