Brikama Utd. beats BK Milan to close gap on GAF

Brikama United have defeated BK Milan 1-0 in the week-twenty match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau to close gap on Gambia Armed Forces in the 2018-2019 Gambia GFF domestic division one league.

The Bakau-based team, who lost to the Sateyba boys 2-1 in the first round at the Box Bar Mini Stadium, came for revenge to better their position in the league standings but were beaten by Brikama United for the second time in the current league campaign.

They capitalised on the Armed Forces goalless draw with Tallinding United to close gap on the soldiers after scoring one goal to secure significant three points.

The win earned Brikama United 33 points after twenty league outings and Gambia Armed Forces with 36 points in twenty league matches.

Gambia Ports Authority beat Samger 1-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium while Fortune overcame Banjul United on the same scoreline at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.
