Brikama Utd batter Wallidan to close gap on GPA in GFF 1st Division

Brikama United on Sunday beat Wallidan 1-0 in the week-nineteen fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to close gap on Gambia Ports Authority to four points in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league.

Real De Banjul beat Samger on the same score-line at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Real De Banjul opened the scores through Muhammed Camara in the 64th minute of the game.

Elsewhere, Hawks drew goalless with Serrekunda

Bombada thrashed Gambia Armed Forces 3-1 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Steve Biko drew 0-0 with Gambia Ports Authority at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.

Elsewhere, Banjul United drew 1-1 with the defending champions Gamtel at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Banjul United opened the scores through striker Pa Omar Babou after the interval, before midfielder Adama Bojang levelled the scores for Gamtel in the dying minute of the game to share the spoils.

Gambia Ports Authority are still in the race with 40 points in nineteen league matches; Brikama United are second with 36 points in nineteen league matches and Real De Banjul are third with 34 points in nineteen league matches.

Hawks are fourth with 25 points in nineteen league matches, Gamtel are fifth with 24 points in nineteen league matches, Steve Biko are sixth with 21 points in nineteen league matches and Gambia Armed Forces are seventh with 20 points in nineteen league matches.

Bombada are eighth with 20 points in nineteen league matches, Samger are ninth with 19 points in nineteen league matches, Wallidan are tenth with 18 points in nineteen league matches, Serrekunda United are second place from bottom with 17 points in nineteen league and Banjul United are rock bottom with 16 points in nineteen league matches.
