Brikama Utd. arrives in Morocco for Raja CAF champions league tie

The 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) division one league champions Brikama United, Tuesday left Banjul for Casablanca, Morocco prior to their crunch 2019-2020 Confederation of African Football (CAF) champion’s league second-leg fixture with Raja Casablanca on Saturday.

The Sateyba boys require a victory in the second-leg encounter in Casablanca to progress to the second round of the continent’s top tier club competition following their 3-3 draw with the Casablanca-based team in the first-leg match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, a week ago.Coach Modou Lamin Nyassi and his charges must produce a miracle to snatch positive results in Casablanca on Saturday to advance to the second round of the competition, but a goalless draw will see them out and Raja Casablanca through.

The Casablanca-based club need a goalless draw in the second-leg in Casablanca, to navigate to the second round of the championship but a defeat will see them out and Brikama United through.
