The long-awaited Brikama league final is slated for Sunday 11thof January 2009 at Brikama Mini Stadium between Chimo United FC and Real Sira's Suppliers FC.

The final match is expected to be graced by the GFA president and other significant dignitaries.

Speaking to Pointsports, the president of the Brikama Youth and Sports Association, Lamin King Colley, saidthe final match will be free and fair and he advised the fans of both sides to exercise discipline.

He stated that BYSA would continue to promote and develop sports in Brikama and its surrounding areas and he called on general pubic to come out in their numbers to watch spectacular league final between ChimoUnited FC andReal Sira's FC.

He commended his executives for their hard work, dedication and commitment from the start of the Nawettan through to the league final.

Meanwhile, Banjul Zonal Team will clash with Gunjur Zonal Team in a warm-up match tomorrow Thursday 8thof January 2009 at Gunjur Football Field as part of Banjul's preparations for the 2008-2009 Super Nawettan Zonal Championship renamed thee Baby Muhammed Yahya Jammeh's Super Nawettan Competition organised by GFA and sponsored by His Excellency Professor Alhaji Yahya AJJ Jammeh.

It will be recalled that Banjul eliminated Gunjur in the semis 3-2 in a post match penalty shoot out after the normal time play ended in stalemate.
