Wednesday, January 10, 2018

The rescheduled Brikama derby fixtures between Bombada and Brikama United will be play at the Independence Stadium today, according to sources from The Gambia Secretariat.

The clash between the two sides was called-off while Brikama United were leading Bombada by 2-0 in November last year. The game was suspended after it went into the night before the regulation time. The game is now scheduled to start fresh despite Brikama United’s lead.

Bombada will be striving to lead Brikama United today to leave the red zone after securing just a single point in six league matches and to increase their hopes to stay in the top flight next season. They will also be fighting to avoid relegation to the second tier.

Brikama United will also brawling to punch Bombada to maintain their ambition of clinching their second league title after lifting their first-ever league title in the 2010-2011 season.
