Kinderdorf
Bottrop Technical Senior School were yesterday crowned 2017 National School
Athletic champions, as they have retained their title, at the Independence in
Bakau.
The
Inter-school Athletic Championship organised by The Gambia Senior Secondary
School Sports Association brought together more than hundred schools from all
over the country to compete in this year inter-school championship
The
Brikama-based school clinched the title to claim it for the second time in a
row with 311 points, while Mahad Senior Secondary School took 2nd with 271
points, Barra/Essau Secondary Schools took third with 245 points, Gambia Senior
Secondary School came fourth with 189 points, Muslim S.S.S took fifth position
with165 points, and Nusrat are sixth with 138 points.
In
the upper basic school category, Bokoteh Upper Basic School took first with 249
points, Barra/Essau Upper Basic School took 2nd with 199 points, Latrikunda
Sabiji U.B.S took 3rd position with 162 points and Latrikunda German, commonly
known as (LK), took 4th position with 140 points.
