Bombada flopping in GFF 1st Domestic league

Thursday, December 07, 2017

Bombada is currently flopping in the 2017-2018 Gambia Football Federation domestic division league one following their recent slump in the country’s top flight league season.

The Brikama-based football club is occupying bottom-place in the league standings with zero point after losing to the newly-promoted side Banjul United 2-1 and Fortune FC 1-0 in their previous league fixtures.

Bombada were losing 2-0 to rivals Brikama United in the all- Brikama derby clash at the Box Bar Mini Stadium, but the match was called off due to darkness with some minutes to go before full time.

Coach Buba Bojang and his charges need to win their next league fixtures to improve their position in the league, after their woeful start to the country’s new league season to avoid relegation to the second division and stay in the top flight for yet another season.

Coach Bojang helped Bombada to stay in the top flight last season despite their dismal start to the league campaign as he will be hoping to replicate last year’s performance to maintain the Brikama- based football club team in the country’s top flight league.
