Bombada
and Brikama United are eyeing a victory in the all-Brikama derby clash in the
2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league set bill for
this weekend.
Bombada
and Brikama United will play against each other in the all-Brikama derby
fixtures on Sunday 18 December 2016, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium at
4pm.
Bombada
are currently languishing bottom place in the country’s top flight with zero
point after losing their three opening league fixtures; and will halt for
revenge to land their first win in the league after losing to Brikama United
1-0 in the FF Cup final last season to move away from relegation zone.
Brikama
United are three points behind joint league leaders Gambia Ports Authority and
Gambia Armed Forces. They will try to spank Bombada in the all-Brikama derby
clash on Sunday to bounce back and also close the gap on league leaders after
losing to Hawks 1-0 in the week-four fixtures last week.
