Blaness FC have sailed to the semifinal of the pending Gunjur knock-out tournament following their 4-3 post-match penalty win over United Real Estate Agency FC after their 1-1 draw in regulation time in the quarterfinal match played at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field on Sunday.

The Gunjur-Kulukochi based outfit, who were kicked out of the league competition following their 4-1 defeat to Mighty Ajax FC in a penalty shootout in the quarterfinal a fourth-night ago, bounced back from a goal down to level scores before winning the tie on penalties to advance to the last four.

Blaness FC has now joined Reliance Financial Service FC and FC Bax in the semifinal after winning their quarterfinal clashes. The Cash Dealers beat FC Halifax Town 1-0 in the quarterfinal.

The Network boys beat Sibindinto FC 2-1 in the other quarterfinal encounter. Meanwhile, the last quarterfinal will feature Mighty Ajax FC and The Pub this week.
