Black Thunder launches new Single ‘Nema Banko- Gambia’

Black Thunder, a Switzerland-based Gambian reggae and dancehall artiste has launched his new single entitled ‘Nema Banko- Gambia’ featuring Philanthropy.

The launching was part of Tobaski tour on 23rd August at Kerewan hall and 24th at Njaba Kunda hall   organized by Royal Fan club.

It featured Deejay Mutaburaka of Africa Light Sound, DJ Bandose, DJ HI-P and DJ NJAGS guest artists are Rapa, Gago, Kiliman Jaro, Deliver and Trigger-Rooga.

Thunder, who was in The Gambia in April to shoot two music videos as part of his promotional tour. The singles were “Jawuya” and “Nations Girls” filmed by Wax media. He also recorded a song with Philanthropy called “Gambia- Nema Banko”

Thunder told The Point Entertainment and Life stylethat the launching was a huge success as the first and second shows were packed.

According to him, the lyrics in songs talked about unity, love and peace among all tribes in The Gambia. “Gambia belongs to all; nobody should take it by your own, let us embrace the diversity, peace and unity among us,” he said.

He said as an artiste, it is incumbent on him to speak to the people about the importance of peace which The Gambia is known for.

 He urged Gambians to embrace each other as brothers and sisters and move the country forward for the future generation. “I want to make a breakthrough in 2018 by focusing and concentrating in my career more as it is the one I study in school. I am ready to spread positivity and speak for the people through music,” he told journalists, saying he is determined to move his music higher.
