champions Benfica FC are interested in signing Gambian striker, Yusupha Njie
from Boavista FC.
The former Real de Banjul prodigy, left The Gambia in 2013 to joined FUS Rabat in Morocco, between 2013 and 2018 before signing for Portuguese club Boavista FC in 2018.
Foroyaa Newspaper’s Sulayman Bah reported that Yusupha Njie picked up a devastating form in no time despite having spent months on the sidelines through injury.
The 25-year-old Gambian forward, who played eleven matches upon his return from injury in the Portuguese Premiera Liga has scored four goals. The news of Njie’s target from Benfica has been greatly welcomed by his club Boavista.
The Portuguese champions, Benfica who won the league with 87 points, are one of those ready to prize him away and are understood to be only hesitating at paying Boavista 1, 000, 000 million valuation.
