Banjul teams to derby in GFF 1st Domestic league tomorrow

Two Banjul teams; Real De Banjul and Banjul United will be facing each other tomorrow Saturday at KG5 Mini Stadium at 4pm in the all-Banjul derby fixture of the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) domestic division one league.

Real will stiff to dismantle Banjul United to bounce-back in the league after losing to Brikama United 1-0 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium last week to maintain their winning ambitions alive.

Banjul United will try all means to batter Real De Banjul to capture their first win to improve their status in the new domestic league season following their goalless draw with Tallinding United and Samger after losing to Wallidan 1-0 in their opening match.

Newly-promoted side PSV Wellingara will play against Brikama United in the all-West Coast Region encounter at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

The Wellingara-based club are struggling in the top flight league and will resolute to shatter Brikama United to improve their position in the league.

The Sateyba boys defeated Tallinding United and Real De Banjul 1-0 respectively after drawing goalless with Samger. They will compete to smack PSV Wellingara to keep their unbeaten run in the domestic league.

Marimoo will welcome newly-promoted side BK Milan at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on the same day.

The Manjai Kunda-based club are currently unbeaten in the new league season after winning two matches and drew one and will attempt to pound BK Milan to maintain their unbeaten record in the league.

The Bakau-based club won one match following their 2-0 victory over PSV Wellingara last week after losing to Samger and Real De Banjul in their previous league outings. They will tussle to end Marimoo’s unbeaten run to avoid demotion to the second tier to stay in the top flight for another season.

Sunday, December 16, Hawks will entertain Fortune at the Independence Stadium in Bakau while Defending champions Gamtel will meet FF cup champions Gambia Armed Forces at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Wallidan will take on Gambia Ports Authority at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium while Samger will lock horns with Tallinding United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.
