club of Banjul and various other Rotarians have recently conducted their 2018
sponsored walk from West Field to Nginki Nganka Nacka Hotel.
Targeted to raise one hundred thousand dalasis fund to provide scholarship for the less privileged students in the lower basic school, the walk was spearheaded by OBA. Moshoshood Abolade, president of the Rotary club of Banjul who is also the king of Nigerian Yoruba community in The Gambia.
The club’s district governor-elect Aki Allen challenged Rotarians to be serious about the “sponsored walk” initiative to generate funds to support needy students in the society.
