Rotary Club has recently inducted seventeen Rotaractors to the club. The new
Rotaractors were received and welcomed immediately after taking the oath of
allegiance of the Rotary club.
President of the Rotaractor of Banjul Rotary Club, Amadou Barry thanked the outgoing President; HRH Rotarian Moshood Abolade, King of Nigerian Yoruba Community in The Gambia for his support to the Banjul Rotaract Club.
Barry urged the club’s leaders to motivate and inspire others to join Rotary and Rotaract Clubs not just as a temporary members, but to be a permanent members that wold grow and become Rotarians in future like other renowned Rotarians in the club.
The induction ceremony is part of the Banjul Rotary club’s planned activities geared towards the visit of the Rotary Club District Governor Akin Allen’s visit to The Gambia next year.
The outgoing President of the Banjul Rotary Club, HRH King Rotarian Moshood Abolade, congratulated the new Rotaractors and advised them to live by the Rotary Club four way tests. The newly elected president for Banjul Rotary Club who will take up the affairs of the club soonest, equally advised the newly inducted Rotaractors.
Miyan Jobe and other members from both Brusubi and Fajara Rotary Clubs joined other clubs to witness the induction.
