Dodou Jallow has been tipped by many volleyball admirers in The Gambia to
become the new president of Gambia Volleyball Federation (GVBF).
The Federation’s elective congress is slated for December 29, Whiles volleyball stakeholder have started pondering around who will steer the affairs of volleyball governing body in the country.
A strong backing from representatives of the registered clubs Monday met at Serrekunda East to publicly announce their backing for Mr. Jallow as head of Gambia Volleyball Federation.
Gamtel/Gamcel, GAF, Interior, UTG, YMCA, Prisons, GFRS, Brikama, Serrekunda East, and Banjul Academy all endorsed Bai Dodou for the presidency.
Mr. Jallow, who served as Secretary General under Musa Cassa Taal and currently the vice president is Gambia’s first international volleyball referee and presently serving as executive member of the Zone II Volleyball union.
