Assan Ceesay scores third goal for FC Zürich

Gambian forward Assan Ceesay has scored his third goal of the season for his Swiss football club FC Zürich in their 3-0 home victory over FC Thun in the week thirty-four fixture of the Swiss Super League played at the Letzigrund ground on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old scored in the 36th minute from an astonishing flying header of Marcheasano from assist to secure a resounding victory for manager Ludovic Magnin’s side after Benjamin Kololli and Stephen Odey opened the scores in the 31st and 35th minutes of the match respectively.

Ceesay started FC Zürich’s last six league matches, scoring three goals in 21 games so far this season. FC Zürich now leveled on points with FC Thun with 43 points each after thirty-four league games. They will take on Luzern next Wednesday while Thun will play away to Basel on Sunday.
