Armed Forces Women Football Club over the weekend defeated Abuko United Women
Football Club 4-1 in the 2017-2018 Gambia Football Federation FF cup
quarterfinal match played at FIFA Goal Project at Old Yundum.
The Khaki Girls opened the scores through striker Ajie Jallow in the 8th minute of the game from a diving finish to give her side the lead. Maria Camara doubled the Kaki Girls lead in the 17th minute of the game to dash Abuko United’s hopes of coming back into the game.
Maria Camara netted the third goal for the Kaki Girls in the 35th minute of the game to complete her brace before Naffisatou Colley pull back one after the interval, which eventually proved to be a consolation goal for the Abuko-based women football club.
Striker Ruggy Joof sealed the victory for the Kaki Girls in the 78th minute from a spot-kick after Mariama Malack fouled Maria Camara in the 18-yard box.
Meanwhile in the other women FF scores, Red Scorpions hammered City by the same score line while Interior thrashed Immigration 3-1 to reach the quarterfinal
