Ambassador's cup golf tournament ends

Ronaldo Del Greco was named the overall winner of Sundays Ambassador's Cup Golf Tournament, hosted by the United States of America Embassy in Banjul, at the Fajara Golf Course.

In a competition competed by over 50 Golfers, Ronaldo completed a total round of eighteen holes with a score of 39 points.

He also won the longest drive hole number nine, while that of the ladies went to Linda Larnach.  

The Under 18 category, was won by Barry Murfin and Buba Jatta.

Alan Machray and Mike Tomlinson emerged victorious in the 18 and above contest.

Jaila Kuo emerged the winner in the ladies category and seconded by Sharon Mears came out second position.

The junior prize went to Samsu Sallah, while that of the visitors went to Paul Brown.

Buba Jatta emerged the winner of the nearest to the pin hole number nine.

Trophies and prizes were awarded at a luncheon at the Fajara Club at the end of the competition.
