Alleged theft case adjourned for defence

The alleged theft case involving one Dawda Ceesay has been adjourned before Principal Magistrate Isatou Janneh of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, for defence.

The trial was adjourned on the grounds that the accused who supposed to open his defence had applied for an adjournment to call his witnesses.

When this case was called, the prosecuting officer told the court that the prosecution intended to close its case.

The accused person told the court that he was seeking an adjournment on the grounds that he wanted to call his witnesses.

The prosecution did not object to the application made by the accused person and the court helped the application and adjourned the case.
