Magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates' Court, on 16th February 2010, discharged one Alhagie Bayo, following the complainant's application to withdraw the case on the ground that the accused is her own grand-son.
The police prosecutor CPL Njie told the court that he was not objecting to the complainant's application.
The trial Magistrate upheld the complainant's application and subsequently discharged the accused person.
Alhagie Bayo, who denied the charge was sometime in 2009, said to have broken into the house of one Aja Nyma Darboe, with intent to commit felony and stealing one generator, valued at D50, 000, one television set, valued at D5, 000 and a radio.
