Mamadou Yerrow Jallow is charged with the murder of one Amadou Jallow in 2007. He now secured the services of a legal practitioner, in the person of Edrissa Sissoho to represent him in the alleged capital offence which carries a death penalty or life imprisonment.

Counsel Edrissa Sissoho yesterday applied for him to be served with the substituted charge sheet and the summary of evidence to enable him to prepare his defence.

The case was then adjourned to 8th September 2009, when Mr. Jallow is expected to take his plea on the matter.

According to the particulars of offence, Mr. Jallow, on 12th January 2007, at Janack Village caused the death of one Amadou Jallow by stabbing him with a knife on his stomach.
