striker, Ali Sowe has ended his nine-game goal drought after scoring during
CSKA Sofia 3-2 home win over FC Arda Kardzhali in the week-six fixtures of the
Bulgarian Premier League played at the Sofia stadium on Sunday.
The 25-year-old who last scored a goal against Etar on July 12, put an end to his goalless run to hand the reds a crucial victory after coming off the bench.
Toni Watt opened the scoring for CSKA Sofia in the 15th minute, but Radoslav Vasilev levelled the score-line for FC Arda in the 19th minute. Evandro de Silva put his side infornt again in the 63rd minute just before the Gambian Ali Sowe scoring the third goal.
Ivan Kokonov also scored the second goal for the Arda Kardzhali in stoppage time of the second half.
The win has moved CSKA Sofia fourth position in the league with 11 points, while FC Arda Kardzhali occupied sixth position with 8 points after six matches.
The Serekunda-born striker scored eight goals in 16 matches for CSKA Sofia after a faulty debut season in Bulgarian First Division League. Ali Sowe and CSKA Sofia will next play Dunav Ruse in their week-seven fixtures of the Bulgarian Premier League
