Ali Sowe notches maiden hat-trick for CSKA Sofia

Gambian striker Ali Sowe has scored his first hat trick for CSKA Sofia in their 5-1 win over Septemvri Sofia in the 24th match of the Bulgarian top-flight league played at the Stadion Balgarska Armija, over the weekend.

The former Gamtel tallish man’s goal helped his team to bounce back from their shock 1-0 defeat against Levski Sofia in their week 24th match.

The Gambian attacker opened the scoring for his side in the 2nd minute of the game after converting a penalty before adding another in the 23rd and 74th minutes to give his side a comfortable 5-1 win on Saturday.

Jorge Fernando and Henrique Roberto scored the other goals for CSKA Sofia, while Ivo Dimitrov scored the only consolation goal for Septemvri Sofia.

The 24-year-old, who turned his loan from Chievo Verona into a permanent stay, is currently enjoying life with the Army men. CSKA Sofia are currently sitting third in the Bulgarian top-flight league table with 51 points after 24 matches.

The former Skenderbeu Korce, Pescara and Modena striker has scored 7 goals in 15 appearances.
