Alasana Manneh signs for Poland top flight team

Gambian professional midfielder, Alasana Manneh on Friday signed a three-year contract with Poland top flight team, Górnik Zabrze after leaving La Liga giant Barcelona FC.

The 21-year-old who was in Barcelona’s team B, now left Spain for Poland in search of a regular playing opportunity.

Manneh, who joined the Barcelona reserve team in 2016, played few games in the Barca team B amongst them is the UEFA Youth League before been eventually loaned out to Spanish Third Division team, CE Sadabell and Bulgarian Premier League team Etar, where he spent the previous two terms.

The Scorpions attacker, who successfully completed a trail in Poland, will now continue his career with the Silesian club until 2022 after impressing and winning the confidence of Górnik Zabrze training staff.

Manneh made two appearances in Sadabell scoring one goal, and also scored three goals in thirty-three appearances in Etar in the 2018/2019 season in the Bulgarian Premier League.
